The name: The Arabian name "El Gouna" indicated translated "the lagoon". These artificially created lagoons gave the name to the vacation resort. El Gouna also is called the "Small Venice" by the red sea.
The story of El Gouna started 1990.
Location: El Gouna extends almost 25 kilometres north of the international airport Hurghada on an about 38 million m2 of large private ground along the coast of the crystal-clear, turquoise-coloured red sea. of which 14.7 million square meters have been developed. Although more than 2'707 villas and apartments have been sold, making it potential for further development exist. The security standard in El Gouna is very highly and a more tightly constituent of the strategy. Even if we know that there can never be an absolute security but our trained security services and the police do all possible for it. It comes added to that that there arent any "foreign parts" in El Gouna. Everybody whom you see in the road almost works and lives also here!
